It was then that I decided to pursue a Master\u2019s degree in Clinical Psychology at The Institute for the Psychological Sciences.<\/p>\n Since graduation, I have worked with adolescents and adults from a diverse set of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in Atlanta, Boston, Orlando, and Dallas. My experience ranges from private practice to involvement in community-based agencies. While in Georgia, I completed an externship program at the Atlanta Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I also completed a post-graduate program at the Trauma Center founded by Bessel Van Der Kolk, world-renowned researcher and best-selling author on trauma. During the program, I served as a clinician and advocate for gang-related youth in Boston, gaining experience in crisis management and coordinating legal, professional, and educational services for my clients.<\/p>\n My approach to therapy is informed by attachment and interpersonal theories, mindfulness, and a psychodynamic understanding of the person.<\/p>\n My goal is for you to walk away with increased self-awareness, a comprehensive plan for growth, and hope for your future.
