Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate Supervised by Fredericka Vyvlecka, PhD, LPC-S

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Fredericka Vyvlecka, LPC-S. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University in 2022.

Prior to becoming a counselor, I taught at a college preparatory school serving low-income families. Through this experience, I felt called to pursue counseling as I became increasingly aware that attending to one’s emotional and human needs is foundational to intellectual growth and overall wellbeing.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults in both a faith-based counseling nonprofit and a university setting. I commonly work with clients navigating anxiety, depression and mood-related concerns, emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

In therapy, I use an integrative and collaborative approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

I do not take for granted the vulnerability that comes with beginning the counseling process. It can often feel easier to prioritize others’ wellbeing before our own. However, I believe that one of the greatest gifts you can offer the people in your life is your own healing.

About me:
In my free time I enjoy the company of good friends and family, experimenting in the kitchen, hosting, daily walks, and the occasional mystery novel.
